Gypsy La Blue hails from Central Louisiana and the surrounding regions, with a unique blend of southern-rocking originals and covers, washed in blues overtones.

The band was established in 2007 with 5 original members which include Jessica Jones, lead vocals; Kenny Jones, lead guitar; Mike Holt, drums; Joe Cook, rhythm guitar; and Danny Holt, bass (RIP).

The band recorded their first album, Hearts on Fire, with an independent record label, in Houston, Tx with master sound engineer, Greg Gill.

The band will reunite for the first time in 15 years on the 2023 Louisiana Pirate Festival stage with some extraordinary guest musicians including former Nashville recording artist and singer Kevin Maines, touring artist and lead guitarist Zak Early, and central Louisiana's own Blake Clinkscales on bass.
